TERMS & CONDITIONS

The Nitty-Gritty! 🤓

SECURITY DEPOSIT

A non-refundable security deposit is required to lock your date in my diary. The payment amount is calculated upon the total booking and services required. All security payments are deducted from the final balance due three working days prior to the secured date, and are sent 14 days prior to this.

Please note that all deposit fees are non-refundable if the booking is canceled by the customer. Final payments must be made in full three working days before the event. Failure to complete this payment may result in cancellation of the booking. If unforeseen circumstances arise that prevent me from carrying out the service, I will make every effort to find a replacement artist. If this isn’t possible, a full refund will be honored within three working days.

TRAVEL AND PARKING

A travel charge of 60p per mile will apply for all travel beyond a 5-mile radius from my postcode. All travel will apply for the round trip. Any parking costs will be added to the final invoice, along with any travel fees incurred for tube and rail. Please note that these travel charges apply to ALL bridal previews and bookings, and are in addition to any promotional discounts.

ADDITONAL FEES

A £30.00 admin fee is added to all final invoices.

ASSISTANT ARTISTS

For larger bookings (bride +5 or more), an assistant makeup artist will be required. An assistant fee of £80.00 per assistant, plus travel calculated from their postcode to the location and return, will also be added to the final invoice. We’ll discuss this during your preview to ensure everything meets your needs.

CONTRACT

FULL wedding terms and conditions are outlined in the WEDDING CONTRACT shared with you during the booking process (I promise it’s not as wordy or scary as it sounds!).

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do I secure my date?

A non-refundable security deposit will do the job! The deposit amount is calculated upon the booking and services required.

How much time do you allocate for each person?

I allocate 1 hour 15 minutes for the bride and 50 minutes to an hour per additional person.

How many people can you get ready?

This all depends on how much time we have in the morning and how early we can start. Bride plus 4 is a comfortable amount. Parties larger than this will require an assistant artist on the job.

When shall I book my bridal preview?

I recommend 2-3 months prior to your wedding day. If however, you're planning on embarking on a skincare journey, then I'd say 6 months prior to the day. Upon booking, you'll receive 'Your Easy Guide to Glowing Skin' pdf to support and guide your skincare journey.

Where do you hold your bridal previews?

All previews are held in my beautiful, light and spacious home studio in Brighton.

Can I bring someone along to my preview?

Absolutely! My makeup studio is spacious and comfortable for two additional people.

Shall I come to my preview with makeup on or off?

If possible, rock up with beautiful bare skin wearing your skincare products only. Upon booking, you'll receive a 'Preparing for Your Bridal Preview' pdf with everything you need to know.💄

Do you provide false eyelashes?

I'm unsure whether to get extensions or not...

I have a variety of luxury individual and strip lashes. If you're unsure, then I recommend trying my lashes first. This way I can tailor lashes to suit your natural eye shape and achieve the look you desire.

Does it matter if I'm more tanned?

Absolutely not! I always have my full kit so I'll colour match you on the day with the same foundation used in your preview.

Do I need to buy lipstick to reapply?

I provide you with a bespoke touch up kit which includes your lipstick and gloss. All kits have lip and powder essentials to keep you looking flawless and camera ready. If you want to go buy your lippy, then happy shopping!

I'm a little anxious about COVID and I have elderly relatives. What precautions do you take?

The health and safety of myself and my clients is paramount. I maintain an extremely high standard of hygiene practices, and ensure that these are followed by assistant artists and all clients in my chair - there are no exceptions! My makeup station is sanitised accordingly and all tools and brushes are sanitised with 99.9% isopropyl alcohol between clients. At the end of the working day, my makeup gets a full alcohol spritz and brushes are shampoo cleaned. Rest assured you are in great and SAFE hands. My presentation and kit speak for itself!
